Role Overview
The Human Resources Manager will be at the forefront of developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy of our clients. You will bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues, and manage the recruitment and selection process. Your expertise will ensure the deployment of a wide variety of popular job roles, from airport security to hospitality ensuring our clients have access to the talent they need to require.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
- Oversee the recruitment process for all client companies, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process from job description creation to final selection.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the company.
- Nurture a positive working environment by developing a suite of employee relations policies that ensure the well-being of all staff.
- Manage the development and implementation of training programs to address client needs, ensuring that all employees meet their potential and the needs of our clients.
- Provide strategic HR advice to client companies, helping them to develop their HR policies and manage complex employee relations issues.
- Keep updates of UK employment law and ensure compliance with legal requirements, reducing risks and ensuring regulatory compliance for our firm and client companies.
- Develop and oversee comprehensive employee benefits and compensation packages that attract and retain talent.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience as an HR Manager, preferably within a recruitment firm or a similar fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices and familiarity with the recruitment industry’s trends and challenges.
- Strong understanding of worker legislation and payroll processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact and professionalism.
- Demonstrated leadership and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of effectively managing a diverse team.
- Proficient in HR software (HRIS or HRMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
