Role Overview

The Operations Manager will oversee the operational aspects of our security services recruitment division. This role involves managing client relationships, optimising operational processes specific to security services recruitment mainly for the airports, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality candidates to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security services, with a proven track record in operations management and a deep understanding of the recruitment industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the operations of the security services recruitment division, ensuring efficient and effective placement of security personnel at airports and other events
  • Develop and implement operational strategies and processes that enhance the recruitment, selection, and deployment of security professionals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their security staffing needs and ensuring their satisfaction with our services.
  • Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure a robust pipeline of qualified candidates to meet client demands.
  • Oversee compliance with all relevant UK laws, regulations, and standards related to security services and personnel.
  • Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards in the recruitment and placement of security staff.
  • Analyse operational performance and implement improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Significant experience in operations management, ideally within a security services environment or recruitment firm specialising in security roles.
  • Strong understanding of the security industry, including operational requirements, regulatory standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in operational and recruitment software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Commitment to high ethical standards and integrity in dealing with sensitive information.
